As with yesterday, the Grade 9 MORNING class now has done their soundscape based on a thunderstorm as well as their own soundscapes to perform for the class.

Here are the pictures of the "instructions" they made for their own soundscapes. The goal here is to show students that music has its own grammar. This grammar is internationally known and therefore we need to respect the rules of this grammar. If not, people will not know how to read your "instructions". This exercise gets them thinking about the rules of written music and how to read music. Also below: You can also find a recording of the students' soundscapes at the bottom of the post.
